    The Theory and methods of statistics play and important role in society, First Aid, hospitals, disasters and industry.

    This module aims to lay foundations in probability and distribution theory , data analysis.

    It begins by defining probability via axioms and develops some of its useful properties. Random variables are introduced, and the properties of probability used to develop distributions of practical importance. Statistical analysis is introduced with simple ideas of summarizing data. Basic ideas of statistics (including techniques of estimation) are covered and applied to data sets.

    According to the famous Unified Process Guide, OOAD is best performed in modern software engineering iteratively and gradually. Iteration by iteration is optimized and continuously enhanced by key factors including hazard and commercial value in terms of OOD operating outputs, evaluation models for OOA respectively and design models for OOD.
